MEET THE ARTISTS
Kyu-Young Kim
violin

Kyu-Young Kim received his B.A. in Music from the Curtis Institute of Music and his M.A. from the Juilliard School. Mr. Kim is associate concertmaster of the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra and is a member of the Daedalus Quartet, winner of the Grand Prize at the 2001 Banff International string Quartet Competition. He has appeared as soloist with the Amadeus Chamber Orchestra of Poland, Bloomington Symphony, Juilliard Orchestra and Saint Paul Chamber Orchestras. Mr. Kim has served as concertmaster for the Curtis, Juilliard and Orpheus Chamber Orchestras and has been on the faculties of the University of Chicago, the Music Institute of Chicago and Interlochen Summer Festival. He was awarded the McKnight Fellowship Award in 2002

Yuri Kim
piano

Yuri Kim received B.M. and M.M. from the Mannes College of Music, studying with Edward Aldwell and Nina Svetlanova. Ms. Kim was the recipient of the prestigious Uris Brothers Foundation Scholarship. She performs as soloist and chamber musician throughout North America, Asia, Russia and Europe, including appearances with the KBS Symphony, International Sejong Soloists and the Hudson Valley Philharmonic as well as recitals at Weill Hall at Carnegie, Merkin Hall and Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center.
Festival appearances include the Taos Chamber Music in New Mexico, Merano Italy and the Aspen Music Festival. Her radio and broadcast credits include the Today Show, City Arts and Emmy-winning PBS Special with Wynton Marsalis, Glenn Dicterow and Robert Spano.
She is currently on the faculty of the Mannes College of Music (since 1989)

Jung-Soo Lee
soprano
Jung-Soo Lee has performed throughout Korea, Italy and the United States. Her major roles have included the lead in Cosi fan tutte, Die Zauberflote, Le nozze di Figaro, La Boheme, La Traviata and Madame Butterfly.
She won the Korea Broadcasting System and the Baltimore Music Club Competition. Ms. Lee is currently a Doctor of Musical candidate at the University of Maryland, where she also received her M.M. degree. She is a graduate of the Seoul National University and received a diploma from the Rossini Conservatory and Osimo Accademia in Italy.
Yoon-Suk Nam
baritone
Yoon-Suk Nam has studied in Seoul, Boston and Italy. Among his opera credits are La Boheme, Il Padrone and La Rondive and has also appeared as soloist in Haydn's Mass and Creation. During his studies in Italy, he performed in master classes for Giuseppe de Stefano and Lajos Kozma. Mr. Nam Graduated from Seoul National University and earned a Master of Music degree from the New England Conservatory of Music.
