MEET THE ARTISTS
Judy Kang
violin

Recognized today as one of classical music's rising stars, Canadian violinist Judy Kang gained national attention at age 10 in her critically acclaimed performance with the National Arts Center Orchestra. She has performed as a soloist with all the major orchestras in Canada and abroad. Ms. Kang made her New York recital debut in Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall and has appeared in recital and as a chamber musician in major concert venues. She graduated with a bachelor of music degree from the Curtis Institute of Music. Ms. Kang received a master's degree from The Juilliard School and became the first and sole recipient of the Artist Diploma from the Manhattan School of Music. She is a member of the International Sejong Soloists and has recorded two critically acclaimed CD's

Richard O'Neill
viola
Violist Richard O'Neill has performed as a soloist and chamber musician throughout the U.S., Europe and Asia. He has collaborated with members of the Julliard, Guarneri, Memdelssohn and Orion string quartets, and violinists Gil Shaham and Cho-Liang Lin. In 2004, he began a residency with Chamber Music Society Two, Lincoln Center. His festival appearances include Marlboro, Aspen, Bridgehampton and Ravinia Rising Stars, as well as performances on Bargemusic. Mr. O'Neill has toured extensively with Musicians from Marlboro and is a member of the International Sejong Soloists. He was the first violist to be accepted into the prestigious Artist Diploma Program at The Juilliard School, studying with Paul Neubauer. Mr. O'Neill performs on a viola made by Gasparo da Salo, Brescia, Italy (c. 1590), most generously loaned to him by the Samsung Foundation of Culture.
Eunjoo Lee soprano
Soprano Eunjoo Lee has performed in La Boheme, The Merry Widow, Le Nozze di Figaro, and as a soprano soloist in many choral works including Messa di Gloria of Puccini, and Handel's Messiah. She has given recitals in Korea and the United States. Ms. Lee began her studies in early childhood and continued in the Sun-Hwa Special Music School, later earning a bachelor of music degree as a scholarship student at Kyung-Hee University. She continued her studies in New York at the Manhattan School of Music, where she received a master's degree in 2001. Her teachers have included Hilda Harris and Raymond Beegel.
Hun-Jae Kim

Pianist Hun-Jae Kim has performed at the Konzerthous Berlin, Hannover, Essen, and Nurnberg, Germany. She studied at the Seoul Arts High School in Korea, and graduated from the Master's program and "Konzertexamen" with honors at the Hochschule fur Music Detmold in Germany, where she studied with Nerine Barrett.
Scott Wright
saxophone
Wright holds a master's degree in classical saxophone performance from the Peabody Conservatory, Baltimore, where he studied with Gary Louie. Mr. Wright earned a bachelor's degree from the University of the Pasific Saxophone Quartet, he competed in international chamber music competitions and reached the finals of the Fischoff, Carmel, and Coleman competitions.
Elizabeth Pridgen

Ms. Pridgen's recent engagements include concerts at Alice Tully Hall, the Kosciuszko Fooundation, and the DACOR Bacon House in Washington D.C., as well as recitals in Atlanta, Long Island, and Curacao. She has performed with Yo-Yo Ma and the Silk Road Ensemble and with the Mark Morris Dance Group at Jacob's Pillow. During the past two summers, she performed extensively at the Tanglewood Music Center and the Amelia Island Chamber Music Festival. Ms. Pridgen recently earned a master's degree from the Juilliard School as a student of Joseph Kalichstein. She received her bachelor's degree from the Peabody Conservatory of Music where she studied with Ann Schein.

Paul An
baritone
As a soloist with the United States Army Field Band, Paul An has performed in forty-nine states within the United States for more than 400,000 people. During that three year tenure, he has been featured as soloist with such ensembles as The London Symphony Orhestra, The Ravinia Music Festival Orchestra, the National Symphony Orchestra, and Philadelphia Orchestra under such notable conductors as Marvin Hamlisch, Eric Kunzel, and Sir Simon Rattle. Mr. An has appeared on broadcast television with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and various PBS broadcasts with the Army Field Band and National Symphony Orchestra. He currently attends The Juilliard School as a recipient of the Alice Tully Scholarship.
Yuri Kim
cello
Cellist Yuri Kim graduated from the Seoul Arts High School and earned a bachelor's degree from Seoul National University. She later graduated from the Master's program and "Konzertexamen" with honors at the Hochschule fur Music Detmold in Germany, where she studied with Marcio Carneiro. She won second prize and the audience prize in the Sixth International Johannes Brahms Competition in Austria, and won first prize in the Music Association of Korea Music Competition in Austria, and won first prize in the Music Association of Korea Music Competition. She has performed with the Buchun Philharmonic and the Korean Symphony orchestras, at the "Young Promising Artist Recital" in the Seoul Arts Center, and at the Konzerthous Brlin.
