MEET
THE ARTISTS |
|
The Miraflores Trio, a dynamic young piano trio, was recently
called ¡°stunning¡± by The Santa Barbara Independent, which also
stated ¡°they would have bowled us over (with) whatever they
played¡±. Pianist Theresa Kim, violinist Yumi Cho and cellist
Sarah Koo began playing together as a trio at the Music Academy
of the West in Santa Barbara, CA. The Trio's studies have led
them to work with esteemed musicians such as Peter Salaff, Jerome
Lowenthal, Zvi Zeitlin, Jonathan Feldman, Darrett Adkins and
Alan Stepansky. The Miraflores Trio's goals include educational
outreach through bringing music awareness to public schools
and other children's venues, as well as a performance focus
on both the classic pieces and new music repertoire |
