Meet the Artists
Young, gifted violinist, Judy Kang is quickly establishing herself internationally as a prominent soloist in the music scene, today. She has appeared throughout America, Europe, and Asia with major orchestras and recitals in prominent halls which include her debut Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall to critical acclaim sponsored by the Korea Music Foundation. She was invited to major festivals as Marlboro, the Ottawa International Chamber Music Festival, the 'Focus' Festival in New York. Ms. Kang has collaborated with esteemed artists as Claude Frank, Kyung Wha Chung and Leon Fleisher. She received a Bachelors Degree when she was seventeen, one of the youngest graduates in its history. She received her Masters from Juilliard and became the first graduate of the eminent Artist Diploma at the Manhattan School of Music.
June Han holds a Premier Prix for Harp and for Chamber Music from the Conservatoire National Sup?rieur de Musique de Paris, a Master of Music and Artist Diploma degree from the Yale School of Music, and a Doctorate of Musical Arts degree from The Juilliard School. She is a member of Ensemble Sospeso, Sequitur Ensemble, and Ensemble 21. She also has collaborated with The Chamber Music Society, Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, and Cygnus Ensemble. Ms. Han’s appearances at summer music programs include the Aspen and Tanglewood festivals in the United States. Ms. Han is currently on the faculties of Yale School of Music, Columbia University, Pre-College Division at The Juilliard School, and Bowdoin International Music Festival. Jeeyoung Hong received her master’s degree and professional studies certificate from Manhattan School of Music, where she established herself as a collaborative pianist and chamber musician in the New York and performed in venues such as Carnegie Hall, Steinway Hall and Manhattan School of Music. She has appeared in series of chamber music concerts with Violinist Amaury Coeytaux, Daniel Khalikov, and Krzysztof Kuznik. She has participated in the Icicle Creek Music Festival in Washington States, the Songfest and the Music Academy of the West in California and the Song Triad in New York. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate degree in accompanying at Manhattan School of Music under the tutelage of Dr. Heasook Rhee as a scholarship recipient.
Yong Kyung Park, mezzo-soprano, highlighted her recent seasons with her performance as Cherubino (Le Nozze di Figaro) which The New York Times quoted her as "a scene stealer". Ms. Park's other operatic stints included Die Zauberfl?te, Cosi fan tutte, and Zemir und Azor. She also sang alto solo in H?ndel's Messiah at Carnegie Hall, American Opera Previews at WQXR and VOX 2007 under New York City Opera at NYU. Yong Kyung Park, a winner of numerous competitions, received her B.A. from Yonsei University, M.A. from Manhattan School of Music and Professional Studies Diploma from Mannes College of Music with Michael Sisca Award.
Soprano Jayoung Yoon made her New York City debut singing the role of Pamina in The Magic Flute with the Lyric Opera of New York and her debut with the Fargo Moorhead Opera Company as Fiordiligi in Cosi fan tutte. She had the opportunity to be the cover for Maria in Gulgielmo Ratcliff with the Teatro Grattacielo at Lincoln Center, singing the role Donna Anna in Don Giovanni with Amarillo Opera , Noe in Susie Ibarra’s new opera Shangri-La in New York City. She was also the 1st Prize Winner of the District Metropolitan Audition. She will sing Gala Concert with LA National Symphony Orchestra at Disney Concert Hall , cio-cio-san in Madama Butterfly with Atlantic Coast Opera and Mimi with Empire Opera this year.
Pianist AngelaPark's many awards and competition prizes include the International Grace Welsh Prize for Piano (Chicago), World Piano Competition (Cincinnati), Canadian National Music Festival in Canada. Angela has performed as soloist and chamber musician for series such as CBC Radio OnStage and the Ottawa Chamber Music Festival. After receiving her master's degree from the University of Toronto. Angela is currently completing the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in performance at the Universit? de Montr?al under the guidance of Paul Stewart.
